Meredith Boyd is an award winning makeup artist specializing in natural makeup looks for corporations and celebrities nationwide. Her client roster boasts top brands such as ABC, AMC, AT&T, CBS, Coca-Cola, Delta, ESPN, Hershey’s Chocolate, Golf Channel, Nickelodeon and Orion. Personalities include ten Miss Americas and celebrities ranging from Samuel L. Jackson, Big Boi, Charles Barkley and David Feherty to Hannah Storm and Jeff Foxworthy and Thom Filicia.
She is highly experienced in airbrush and HD makeup for broadcast television. As an official makeup artist for Miss America and Miss USA pageant systems, Boyd has beautified hundreds of state and national winners across the U.S.
Born out of the desire to achieve a flawless look on camera for clients, Boyd launched Meredith Boyd Cosmetics in 1999, a makeup line developed exclusively for print and television. This entrepreneurial spirit has enabled Boyd to pursue her passion of empowering her clients by teaching them easy and uplifting ways to feel beautiful at any age.
She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications with emphasis in Public Relations, and also studied advanced theatre courses including: acting, stage makeup, scene painting and costume design at Georgia Southern University. Fascinated by the production set, she became an anchor and reporter for a local CNN affiliate in the Coastal Georgia region upon graduation. Boyd continued her communications career in public relations in Atlanta where she spearheaded media and marketing campaigns for Fortune 500 companies across the nation for over a decade. During this time, Boyd also worked around the clock mentoring alongside celebrity artists and photographers across the country to cultivate her makeup artistry skills. With her extensive background helping clients create their brand and image, Boyd understands what it takes to make each client she works with have “the total package.”
An avid public speaker and national spokesperson for the Arthritis Foundation, Boyd graced the cover of Arthritis Today for her longstanding philanthropic efforts. She was even awarded the prestigious President’s Daily Points of Light award for her commitment to serving the youth of America through volunteerism by President George W. Bush. Boyd was also featured in Cobb Life Magazine as one of the “20 Under 40 Rising Stars in Business” and named one of the “50 Most Beautiful Atlantans” by Jezebel Magazine.
