The best relationships begin unexpectedly❤️@mattboydphotography and I are asked by clients every day how we met. My manicurist set me up💅🏻on a blind date 👩‍❤️‍👨. Yep, before the Internet, it was good ‘ole match making at its finest. You see, Matt and his family had been praying for his forever love to come along and after 5 months of our mutual friend and matchmaker @kim.covington trying to set us up, I finally gave in. I was like “sure, it’s not like I’m going to meet my husband”...well God had other plans🥰 After our first meeting he threw in the towel and didn’t call back for a second date. I was like 😳. A week went by and no word from Matt. He told our mutual friend, “I’m a country boy and she’s a city girl, she’s competing in that Miss Georgia Pageant...what is she going to do with a guy like me?” She said, “Matt, she’s waiting on you to ask her out again”🤣 5 minutes later my phone rang and my heart jumped out of my chest ☎️💗And well folks the rest is history! 21 years married and 24 years together. My forever soulmate❤️ God places people in your life for a reason, every single person to fulfill his divine plan for you. Thank you Jesus🙏⁣⁣

I haven’t taken a step without you beside me for

I haven’t taken a step without you beside me for 15 years. I never wanted to envision what this day would feel like…having to look into your sweet brown eyes and kiss you on your tiny little head and tell you goodbye seemed like it could never happen to us…I never wanted to know what this day would feel like, but sadly it happened and you passed away in our arms. Only a few weeks shy of your 16th birthday, our sweet boy Rocky “The Lovebug” Boyd crossed over to rainbow bridge. The hardest part of losing our sweet boy isn’t having to say goodbye…its the way our entire world has changed without him and the emptiness that’s left in our hearts now that he’s gone. It is lonely to walk in the house and studio without your energy, your bark, your tip taps on the floor, your love and you being by our side watching to make sure we’re doing everything “just right.” Matt will never forget the day he met you. You trotted right up to him - you picked him! You made our lives whole and you made us a family. You gave us that special bond that changed our lives forever and we are forever grateful. Thank you Rocky for being our best friend, our shadow, our consistant comfort and a fierce light full of love as we cling to all the moments that are still so fresh they aren’t even memories to us yet. The pain of losing you is like a knife in our hearts. Your wings were ready sweet boy, but are hearts are not. Friends, please post and share a pic of Rocky to flood the internet with love for him.
